With over 10 years of hands-on experience, he works with individuals, families, and small businesses to simplify the tax process, minimize liabilities, and develop year-round tax strategies that create real, lasting impact.
Joshua’s interest in taxes began at a young age and officially turned into a career in 2014. By 2018, he launched Freedom Financial Tax with a mission to give clients more than just tax prep—he wanted to offer guidance, education, and strategies that support long-term tax efficiency and compliance.
Whether it’s navigating IRS issues, planning for major life events, or optimizing your business deductions, Joshua takes a thoughtful, client-focused approach. He’s committed to staying current on tax law changes and using that knowledge to benefit the people he serves.
When he’s not working through returns or researching the latest tax updates, Joshua enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with his family.

Cheryl Page serves as the Office Manager at Freedom Financial Insurance , bringing more than 27 years of combined experience in operations management, regulatory compliance, and administrative support. In her role, she is responsible for directing daily office operations, overseeing compliance functions, and supporting the firm’s marketing and client‑service initiatives.
Cheryl spent 17 years in the casino industry, where she specialized in developing and delivering training related to policies, procedures, and gaming‑commission regulatory standards. Her extensive background in managing compliance within a highly regulated environment provides a strong foundation for ensuring the firm meets and maintains all operational and industry requirements.
Alongside her compliance expertise, Cheryl has over a decade of administrative assistant experience, offering a proven track record in organization, communication, and workflow coordination. She is dedicated to upholding a professional environment that supports both client satisfaction and the long‑term objectives of AJ Freedom Financial.
Brooklyne Middaugh
Executive Assistant
Brooklyne is an Executive Assistant at Freedom Financial Tax, where she takes a focused, dependable approach to supporting both clients and the team. She’s always ready to assist with questions or concerns and helps keep day-to-day operations running efficiently.
Originally from the area, Brooklyne graduated from Northeast Bradford High School and began her career as a job coach—an experience that built her strong problem-solving skills and a steady, supportive approach to working with others. Her background has shaped the practical mindset she brings to her role every day.
Outside of work, Brooklyne enjoys spending time with her family and friends, caring for animals (especially her sheep), gardening, and being outdoors. She also loves going to the beach and traveling whenever the opportunity arises, whether it’s a quick weekend trip or a new place to explore.

Administrative Assistant
Brittain is an Administrative Assistant at Freedom Financial Insurance, where she plays an essential role in supporting both clients and daily operations. Known for her positive attitude and warm smile, Brittain is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed, ensuring tasks are handled efficiently and clients feel welcomed and supported.

Outside of work, she enjoys baking and cooking, especially trying out new recipes for her family and friends. She loves spending time outdoors and cherishes making memories with her loved ones — especially with her children, who are the center of her world.
